Applicability

This privacy statement applies to all privacy-sensitive information or personal data that you provide to us. This includes, for example, data provided via an order you place with us or information you leave via a contact form. Safeguarding the privacy of our customers is of great importance to us. We therefore strive to treat our customers’ personal data with the utmost care. We process data according to the conditions set out in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Groba Feeding Systems is responsible for complying with these conditions regarding the processing of your personal data. This means that only we determine which personal data is processed, for what purpose, and in what manner. We are responsible for ensuring that your personal data is processed in a careful manner in accordance with the GDPR. In this privacy statement, we specify which data we process and the purposes for which it is used.

Purpose and legal basis for processing personal data

By agreeing to this privacy statement, you give us permission within the meaning of Article 6, paragraph 1, sub a of the GDPR to process your personal data for the purposes mentioned below. You can withdraw this consent at any time; please contact us to do so.

If you have not given us explicit consent to process your personal data, or if you have withdrawn this consent, Articles 6, paragraph 1, sub b, sub c, and/or sub f of the GDPR may apply to the processing of your personal data. In that case, the processing of your personal data may take place without your consent, but only when it is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party, or when it is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by Groba Feeding Systems.

We process and store your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Sending our newsletter and/or advertising brochure
  • To be able to call or email you if necessary to perform our services
  • To inform you about changes to our services and products
  • To deliver goods and services to you

We do not store your personal data longer than is necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected.

We may share your personal data with third parties if this is necessary for the purposes mentioned above. In some cases, disclosure to third parties may be necessary for the performance of the contract we conclude with you, or necessary to comply with a legal obligation. Commercial purposes

We may use your personal data for commercial purposes, for example, to inform you about our services or products or services that we deem relevant to you. In this case, you will only be informed via the email address you registered. If you do not wish to receive information about relevant products or services in your mail, you can easily unsubscribe from further emails by clicking “unsubscribe” in the received email.

Your personal data is also used by us for market research and the optimization of our services. In that case, your personal data is anonymized so that it can no longer be traced back to you.

Your data will not be shared with third parties or sold for commercial purposes unless you have given explicit permission for this.

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your smartphone, computer, or tablet during your first visit to this website. Groba Feeding Systems uses this service to obtain reports on how visitors use the website and to measure its quality and effectiveness. We use Google Analytics in the manner prescribed by the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) to fall under the exception in the cookie law, meaning we do not require your consent for the use of Google Analytics.

Accessing, correcting, or deleting personal data

You always have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw any consent for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data. Furthermore, you have the right to data portability when we possess digital personal data that we either process with your consent or process to perform a contract we have concluded with you.

This means that you can submit a request to us to send the digital personal data we hold about you in a readable computer file to you.

Would you like to submit a request for access, correction, deletion, or data portability of your personal data, or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data? Please send this to info@groba.nl

To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but no later than within four weeks.

We would also like to point out that you have the option to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority, if you do not agree with the way Groba Feeding Systems handles your data.
